Make your site password-protected
First, we need to make the site password-protected instead of private. Go to Settings β Site Availability and choose Password Protected.

Set the desired password. In our case, we’ll use demo. Don’t forget to save!
Now you can send links to your site and provide people with the password. Once they enter it, they can view the site as if it was live.

Creating direct links to trial site
Once the password is set, you can also create direct links to the site now β that’s great as it doesn’t require explicitly entering the password.
To create a link, add ?password=YOUR_PASSWORD at the end of your SquareSpace link. Replace YOUR_PASSWORD with, well, your password π
E.g.
https://your-trial-domain.squarespace.com?password=demo
You can also link to the page if needed:
https://your-trial-domain.squarespace.com/about?password=demo
Note: your-trial-domain is an example, you need to use your own link.
